Steve Munger, Senior Pastor

Pastor Steve Munger and his wife Linda originally hail from Minnesota where he served the Free Methodist Church as pastor and then Conference Superintendent before joining the Brethren in Christ Church in 1992, and moving to Pennsylvania. Pastor Steve served the Antrim Brethren in Christ Church in Greencastle, PA. from 1992-1999. He served the Brethren in Christ denomination as Associate Director of International Ministries (World Missions) from 1999-2003. In July of 2003 Steve became the Senior Pastor of the Cedar Grove Church.

Pastor Steve and Linda have three grown children and eleven grandchildren. Their oldest son, Andrew, and family live in Austin, Minnesota on the family farm. Their second son, Scott, and family live in Valdosta, Georgia. Their daughter, Sara, and her family recently purchased a dairy farm in Thompsontown, PA, and worship at the Cedar Grove Church.

The deepest desire of Pastor Steve’s heart is this: That all men would come to know the transforming power of the saving grace of Jesus Christ in their lives!

Jeannie Leach, Director of Christian Education

Jeannie joined the staff at Cedar Grove as the Director of Children’s Ministries in August of 2003 and in 2010 became Director of Christian Education overseeing children, youth, young adults and adult ministries.  She has attended Cedar Grove since 1996 with her husband Steve and their two daughters, Cierra and Mackenzie, ages 21 and 15.  Steve serves on the Missions Committee as well as co-leading MEN's Fellowship.  Her desire is to always seek truth and to be in the will of God...not seeking her own way but His way....to accept with thanksgiving all that He requires of her life for she believes this is where peace is found...each day asking "Is Jesus Lord of my life?"....all this that she might be better equipped to truly be used of God for His glory.
